Mr. Saitou (which is a spin-off of the highly acclaimed Rakuen) is a short game about an average Japanese office worker who struggles to find meaning in a life full of constant overtime and social isolation. After an accident lands him in the hospital, Mr. Saitou is spirited away to a strange fantasy world where an unexpected friend takes him on a life-changing adventure.

About the developer

Laura Shigihara is a video game developer, composer, and singer-songwriter. She’s created audio for over 30 published video game titles and projects (including Plants vs. Zombies, To the Moon, DELTARUNE, CS:GO, World of Warcraft, Super Meat Boy (PS4/Vita), High School Story, Minecraft: The Story of Mojang, and the official Square Enix 20th Anniversary Chrono Trigger/Chrono Chross album). Laura spent 2 years as an Audio Director under the All Play label at Electronic Arts, and created the highly acclaimed video game Rakuen which was released in 2017.
